Adrian

Adrian, 7, is in remission. He was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the age of five and has since undergone intense chemo and radiation treatments. He is due for his over year check-up but all his scheduled appointments were dropped because his family does not have insurance. His mother was recently fired from her job for leaving early because that went "against business needs."Adrian had gotten sick and she had to leave early from work to take him to the emergency room.

American Fireworks (made in China)

Dale Edge, 61, of Pflugerville, TX helps his son Nathan, 24, man an American Fireworks stand for the two weeks leading up to July 4th weekend. Nathan decided to sell fireworks as a way to make extra money after seeing a billboard advertisement. It is his first time working with the company who provides both the stand and the fireworks to sell. He hopes to make at least $2,000. Nathan's cousin Landon, 17, and his girlfriend Lauri also help out. Someone has to be at the stand at all times so the family takes turns watching it. "You kinda hafta be a people person to sell fireworks," Landon said.

Although, the company Nathan is working for is called "American" Fireworks most of the fireworks are made in China.
